Mary Mac's Place

Mary Mac’s Place at Woy Woy, run by St John the Baptist Parish and CatholicCare, provides daily meals for people experiencing homelessness while fostering dignity, connection, and community. This charity concert by the Central Coast Philharmonia supported the vital work of Mary Mac’s Place, raising funds and awareness for a service built on compassion as much as care.

Mary Mac’s Place began in 1993 as a parish initiative in Woy Woy and has since grown to serve between 80 and 120 people each weekday. Those who attend are known as “companions,” reflecting the belief that building relationships and human connection is as important as meeting physical needs.
