Autumn Dreaming

Central Coast Philharmonia presented Autumn Dreaming, a choral concert exploring themes of reflection, emotion, and seasonal change through contemporary repertoire.
The program featured works by modern American composers Eric Whitacre and Z. Randall Stroope, whose music is known for its rich harmonies, expressive textures, and lyrical sensitivity.
The performance brought together the voices of the Central Coast Philharmonia with the Central Coast Children’s and Youth Choir, local vocal ensemble Ebb & Flow, and featured performers Mia Cross, Grace Mitchell, and Lilli Naulu.
Across the program, each work reflected the character of autumn, combining poetic texts with nuanced choral writing to create an evening of warmth, depth, and musical colour.
Reviews
"The concert was very good. One would normally expect a major work as the centre piece, but the evening was an interesting mix of presentations with good variety. There was something for everyone."
"Amazing night last night, loved it."
"It was perfection. I loved the new songs as well!"
"Congratulations on the event last night and your stunning ensemble (Ebb & Flow)! Sublime performance of beautiful music. Voices and harmonies were BRILLIANT! You should be so proud."
"I cannot commend Patrick, Anne Haslam and Lilli highly enough. They are continually working towards creating a better and better choir!"
