Broadway! Then & Now

Broadway! Then & Now celebrated the rich tradition of musical theatre that has defined Broadway for more than a century. Presented by Central Coast Philharmonia, the concert captured the essence of this remarkable genre — from toe-tapping showstoppers to intimate, reflective moments — showcasing works by iconic composers such as George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Richard Rodgers, Oscar Hammerstein, and Stephen Sondheim.

The performance featured soloist Tiana Young, winner of the 2015 Philharmonia Scholarship, and included much-loved selections from Anything Goes, Porgy & Bess, Beauty and the Beast, Into the Woods, Sweeney Todd, A Little Night Music, and Company. The programme delighted audiences with a joyful celebration of Broadway’s enduring musical legacy.
