Mozart Requiem
Saturday 18th November 2017
St John the Baptist Catholic Church, Woy Woy

The towering magnificence of the Requiem of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: a cornerstone of the classical repertoire (and yet one veiled in speculation, myth, untruths and half-truths) grips the listener and performers alike, in awe of its beauty.
The wonderful sacred space and acoustics of St John the Baptist is the ideal location for what promises to be a memorable finale to the 2017 concert season.
Our amazing soloists are:
- Sarah Ampil : Soprano
- Anne Haslam : Mezzo-soprano
- Blake Parham : Tenor
- Alex Sefton : Bass
Reviews
- This was a wonderful concert. The choir looked and sounded great. The soloists Anne, Alex, Sarah and Blake were fantastic as was the orchestra. Choristers worked very hard in preparing for this concert. We had an capacity audience of over 300. Feedback has been very extremely positive. This one I particularly liked:
- "Well, a packed to the rafters Mozart Requiem... just a superb concert. Orchestra, soloists, Central Coast Philharmonia choir and Philip Rees inspiring conducting as always. The audience loved it and many got to their feet!! What a buzz!! Well done to all and thank you for the opportunity to do something I love!!" - Anne Haslam
